In teams of four you are going to compete against another team in a philosophical debate on one of two topics in our very own Agora.

 

These are: 

 SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO A SOCIETY THAN PHILIOSOPHY 

 

OR

 

 CHILDREN SHOULD BE TRAINING TO BECOME INTELLIGENT BEINGS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

 

Each team will have four players and each member will have a maximum of one minute to speak. It is expected that each member of the team will contribute to the discussion in a theatrical style, typical of the Agora.

 

This is because your job will be to convince the public that your argument is the best.
